Twin4CH
The Digital Twin for Cultural Heritage (Twin4CH) Chair aims to investigate the rising use of digital twins in heritage documentation and management, with a special focus on urban heritage facing risks from climate change. The Chair conducts state-of-the art research in 3D representation (photogrammetry, lidar, radiance fields, etc.) in relation to their use for urban heritage sites, as well as data integration for a digital twin. It also focuses on the interactions and influences of climate change and built heritage in an urban setting.
Twin4CH is hosted by INSA Strasbourg as part of the Chaire de Professeur Junior (CPJ) research scheme financed by the French Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR). Twin4CH researchers are also affiliated to the TRIO group of the ICube Laboratory.
